Ode to the Bourgeoisie
Chinese society resembles an olive,
You are the trunk of it:
It's pointed and small in the both ends,
And very big in the middle.
The both ends lack knowledge and creation,
While the middle stores culture.
However, you're undergoing the endless hardship
And the continuous torture.
You have too many obligations,
But no rights at all.
Being a vanguard of era,
You're just silently working, working, working.
No matter how tough the road is,
You don't complain and sigh at all.
Oh, great bourgeoisie!
You're boldly standing,
Besides, fighting and calling,
Leading and marching forth,
In the correct direction of history,
You're the light,
You're the heat,
You're the core force of revolution,
An invincible power like a surge.
